David R Lueck a local tampa bay trapper says he gets 5 calls a week for it. 4 of them being pranksters.

This lil guy has been alluding authorities for over a year now. He is a wanted criminal in the states eye and they can’t seem to catch him. They have shot him with so much drugs they believe they may even have a a drug dependent monkey in their hands. Hmm. My first thought is a down side of using a dart gun with tranquilizers but it is rare dart guns not even working.

He has a fan club on Facebook. We Joined.

As a professional I have problems with any non-native species released in to our native wild lands. This monkey is extremely intelligent, even knows to look both ways to cross the street and not get knocked out by high power lines. But my heart says run little guy run!

Enjoy his story either here or on Facebook! I plan to interview the trapper in the end who finally captures this rhesus macque monkey.
